tired, exhausted,

Without you I'm hungry
Like a beast in a cage
I'm running in circles,
trying to escape
For something inside me
is primal and dark,
It feeds on my pride
and feeds on my joy
Without your love
it grows stronger and stronger
slowly, so slowly
it eats me alive
